COFFEE! One of my true passions is coffee!!! The aroma of the beans or grinds, te sound of whole beans grinding, pouring the water into the machine, pressing the button, and listening to the sound of what will produce pure perfection! Any store that I enter, if they have a coffee aisle, I am going down it only if it is to smell the aroma. For me, the smell of coffee is soothing and immediately calms me. Maybe you have something similar that calms you. Maybe it’s a candle in your favorite fragrance, maybe it’s the smell of your favorite food cooking, maybe it’s flowers, or maybe it’s the aroma coming from your favorite restaurant. When it comes to candles, I even seek out coffee/latte scents. I love it! My favorite is finding WHOLE bean coffee and grinding it at home. The smell is invigorating. A coffee bean grinder for me is an essential to a coffee bar. I have a small coffee bar at home because space for me is limited. We have a nice little shelving unit that was bought on Amazon that works out great. I love it! It has enough room for a grinder, coffee maker, an upper shelf for flavorings, finishing sugars, toppings, and syrups. There are lower shelves where we keep our bags of coffee and additional items. You can keep cups, mugs, shelf stable plant based milk, or anything else you desire. This shelving unit also includes electrical plugs so you can plug your coffee bean grinder and coffee machine right into the shelving unit. There is also a power switch to turn the plugs off when not in use. The shelving unit itself has a cord which is a good length, which you plug into a wall electrical outlet. I have had NO issues with this unit and I will say again that I love it! We keep the power switch off when we aren’t using our coffee bar. This is what this unit looks like:
Now, I will warn you that assembly is required for these shelves. But the good thing is that the bottom shelves are adjustable. You can adjust them where you want them to be depending on what you plan on storing on them. This is a great feature! The electrical plugs built right into the shelves is also so convenient and nice. You don’t have to worry if your coffee machine and grinder cords are going to reach to a wall outlet.
This shelving unit does NOT take up a lot of space which makes it great for small kitchens like mine! It holds so much stuff and doesn’t take up a lot of space. Here are the exact measurements:

Now, once you have an area to make your coffee bar, you have to decide WHAT you want to include in it. You can’t have a coffee bar without a coffee/espresso maker/machine. Makers or machines vary from cheap versions to luxury versions. You have to decide what you want and what you can afford. I have a NINJA coffee maker that I LOVE. It includes a built in milk frother which is a very nice feature! Also, you have the option of brewing one cup or coffee or a whole carafe. I have the stainless steel carafe which is awesome. It keeps the coffee hot for HOURS!!!! If you have left over coffee in the carafe, I have put it in the refrigerator to enjoy iced coffee the next day. No wasted coffee! I have had this machine for probably 3 – 4 years now and I have NOT had one single problem with it. I would highly recommend Ninja appliances. My machine is probably outdated now so here is the closest version to what I have:
This machine has so many nice features and I will say again how much I love it. I use it daily. If I am home alone, I can brew a single cup for myself. If you have a crowd, you can brew a carafe. YOU CAN FIND THIS MACHINE HERE.
Next, for your coffee bar, you need to decide if you want a coffee bean grinder. I do have a grinder and it fits nicely on the main shelf of the unit next to my Ninja coffee maker. I have a Cuisinart Supreme Grind which I also love. You can choose what type of grind you want from fine to coarse. It is small in size so it doesn’t take up much space. I also highly recommend this product! Again, I have had this grinder for about 3-4 years so it is outdated. Here is the closest version they now have:

Now, as you know, there are tons of coffee makers and grinders out there. You can choose to buy a coffee machine which has a grinder built in like this one.

If you are an ICED coffee lover like I am, you may opt for a machine that also makes iced coffee. Now, the Ninja machine I have has an “over ice” feature on it already. If you are a KEURIG lover, than this is the machine for you. It makes both hot and iced coffee AND allows you to use BOTH pods or grounds! YOU CAN FIND THIS VERSATILE KEURIG MACHINE HERE
If you want to add ESPRESSO to the mix, then this is the machine for you. It is a NINJA machine which I already told you I love. I highly recommend the NINJA machine I have and I am sure that this NINJA machine won’t disappoint. It has a 4 star rating and has the built in milk frother and 9 sizes of brew options from single serve to carafe. I forgot to mention this earlier but the built in frother allows you to make lattes, cappucinos, and flat whites. This is a great option to have this built right into your machine. Now we move on to the personalization and fun part of a coffee bar. Some people choose to get a silicon mat to put under their machine. This helps with spills and includes a drying mat for cups/mugs. This is one option:

The real fun that adds to a coffee bar is fun mugs/cups, cute signs, or even some fun lights!

Before I end this post, I have to share some of my favorite coffees with you! You can’t have a coffee bar without coffee, right???? Well, I am a true DUNKIN girl. I love Dunkin coffee and if I am out and about, Dunkin will be a stop I make for their ICED coffee! I love their hot coffee as well, but I typically go for the iced. Of course, I love Dunkin coffee at home as well. Dunkin comes out with great seasonal flavors which I love. Nothing beats a great flavored coffee! Here are some of my favorite coffee choices:

Another brand of coffee that I have tried and love is Door County Coffee! They have many different flavors and varieties. My favorite flavor by Door County as of now is the PEANUT BUTTER CRUNCH! This is a WHOLE BEAN coffee.

Another option for Door County coffee is their sampler pack. They offer packs of coffee in different flavors so you can try a variety of flavors and see which is your favorite! There are different flavor combinations you can choose from. I highly recommend this brand!

Hollander Cafe Sauce is another item I love especially the Mocha drizzle! It is VEGAN, GMO free, Gluten and Soy Free. It is the only brand I buy and of course it is DELICIOUS!
